Resolved that the delegation of Bob Miller, Alzheimer Society of Niagara Region with reference to the 19th Annual Coffee Break be received.

Resolved that the delegation of Carmen D'Angelo, CAO & Secretary Treasurer, Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority with reference to the NPCA's 4 year Strategic Plan be received.

Resolved that the Committee of Adjustment minutes of August 19, 2014 be received and filed.

Resolved that the Recreation Services Committee meeting minutes of August 26, 2014 be approved.

Resolved that the Committee of Adjustment meeting minutes of September 2, 2014 be received and filed.

Resolved that the Public Works Committee meeting minutes of September 10, 2014 be approved.

Resolved that the correspondence from Fred Hahn, President, CUPE Ontario Division regarding a request to declare Child Care Worker Educator Appreciation Day, October 29, 2014 be received.

Resolved that the correspondence from Rob MacIsaac, President & CEO, Hamilton Health Sciences with reference to an Update on amalgamation of Hamilton Health Sciences and West Lincoln Memorial Hospital be received.

Resolved that the correspondence from Sheila Nicholas, Chair of Teachers of English as a Second Language Association of Ontario regarding a request to declare the week of October 12 to October 18, 2014 as English as a Second Language Week be received.

Resolved that the correspondence from Jo-Anne St. Godard, Executive Director, Recycling Council of Ontario regarding a request to declare October 20 to October 26, 2014 as Waste Reduction Week be received.

Resolved that the Council of the Town of Grimsby approve the recommendation of the Grimsby Public Library Board to appoint William Lloyd as a member of the Grimsby Public Library Board for the balance of the 2010 to 2014 Term of Council.

Resolved that leave be given to introduce By-law Nos. 14-90 to 14- 97 inclusive and that the same be read a first time.

Resolved that the October 20, 2014 Council meeting be cancelled and that the Council meeting calendar is updated.

Resolved that Council meet in Closed Session under Sec. 239(2)(d) of the Municipal Act 2001, labour relations or employee negotiations - Employee negotiations Closed Session under Sec. 239(2)(b) of the Municipal Act 2001, personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees - Heritage Trust Awards Closed Session under Sec. 239(2)(e) of the Municipal Act 2001, litigation or potential litigation, including matters before administrative tribunals, affecting the municipality or local board - OMB Hearing, new Zoning By-law 14-45

Resolved that Council return to Open Session.

Resolved that Supplementary Report TM-14-09 regarding hourly staff Document of Working Conditions be received, and the recommendations therein be endorsed.

Resolved that the Administration & Finance Committee minutes of September 8, 2014 be approved.

Resolved that the Planning & Development Committee meeting minutes of September 9, 2014 be approved.

Resolved that leave be given to introduce By-law Nos. 14-90 to 14- 97 inclusive read a first time be now read a second and third time and finally passed; that the Mayor and Town Clerk do sign and seal Page 9 of 9 Council September 15, 2014 the same any rule of Council to the contrary notwithstanding.
