Resolved that the Council Endorsement Package from the Grimsby Heritage Advisory Committee meetings of December 12, 2023 and January 9, 2024 be approved.

Resolved that the Grimsby Heritage Advisory Committee minutes of December 12, 2023 and January 9, 2024 be received.

Resolved that report PA-24-01, Council Direction Report – 25 Kerman Avenue, 92 Main Street West, and 127 Main Street West, dated January 15, 2024, be received; and 1. That Council proceed with the passing of the designation by-laws for the properties at 25 Kerman Avenue, 92 Main Street West, and 127 Main Street West.

Resolved that report PA-24-02, Information Report – 266 Main Street West, dated January 15, 2024, be received; and 1. That Council proceed with the passing of the amended designation by- law for the property at 266 Main Street West.

Resolved that Councillor Baradziej be nominated for appointment by the Regional Council to the Transportation Strategy Steering Committee for the current term of Council, ending November 2026.

Resolved that leave be given to introduce By-law 23-96, and By-laws 24- 01 to 24-04 inclusive, and that the same be read a first time, considered, and passed.

Resolved that Council meet in closed session under:  Section 239(2)(b) of the Municipal Act, where a closed meeting is held if the subject matter being considered is personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees; and  Section 239(2)(d) of the Municipal Act, where a closed meeting is held if the subject matter being considered pertains to labour relations or employee negotiations.

Resolved that the direction provided in closed session regarding the market review be approved; and 1. That staff be directed to implement the recommendations provided within the market review; and 2. That staff be directed to notify the nominated candidate for the Niagara Transit Commission Public Advisory Committee for their acceptance.
