Resolved that the Minutes of the Grimsby Art Gallery Advisory Board Meeting of March 8, 2018 be received for information and the recommendations within be approved.

Resolved that the Minutes of the Grimsby Museum Board meeting of March 7, 2018 be received for information.

Resolved that the Committee recommends that the Director's Information Report - March 2018 DRS18-07 be received for information.

Resolved that Committee recommends that the Happening at the Forty Report DRS18-08 be received for information and that related permit applications for this event be supported, including a license to serve alcohol at Southward Community Park on Friday evening July 13, 2018 and the partial road closures of Main Street West on Saturday July 14, 2018.

Resolved that the Committee recommends that the Terms of Reference for the Active Grimsby Advisory Committee contained with Report DRS18-09 be approved.

Resolved that the Committee recommends that the Smith Public School Grounds Use - Memorandum of Understanding Report DRS18-12 be received and staff be authorized to sign the agreement as presented.

Resolved that the Recreation, Facilities and Culture Committee go into Closed Session under Section 239(2)(b) of the Municipal Act; personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees; - DRS18-10 Civic Recognition Awards 2018

Resolved that the Recreation, Facilities & Culture Committee go into Closed Session under Section 239(2)(e) of the Municipal Act; litigation or potential litigation, including matters before administrative tribunals, affecting the municipality or local board; - DRS18-11 Grass Cutting Report

Resolved that the Grimsby Museum Board of Directors Annual Report submitted by B. Thompson, Chair, be received for information.
