Page 2 of 5 Page 2 of 5 Administration & Finance Committee October 11, 2011 Resolved that Report TC-11-14 dated October 3, 2011 with respect to the Joint Accessibility Advisory Committee, Accessibility Plan to Identify Barriers for People with Disabilities be received; And further that the Accessibility Plan dated September 30, 2011 in Compliance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act be approved.

Resolved that Report FIN 11-26 dated October 5, 2011 with regard to Tax Write-Offs be received and that the total write-offs in the amount of $16,892.25 be approved.

Resolved that Report FIN 11-27 dated September 27, 2011 regarding the 2012 Insurance Renewal be received and that the insurance proposal submitted by Jardine Lloyd Thompson be approved.

Resolved that Report TM-11-05 dated October 11, 2011 regarding a Salary Review for Town staff be received, and that the Region of Niagara Human Resources Department be retained to undertake the review as outlined in their proposal dated September 9, 2011.

Resolved that Report FCR 11-11 dated October 3, 2011 with reference to the Establishing and Regulating By-law update be received and that the recommendations contained in this report be approved and further that By- law 11-50 be forwarded to Council as amended.

Resolved that Committee return to Open Session.

Resolved that Report FCR 11-15 dated October 3, 2011 with reference to 2012 Firefighter Recruitment and Officer Development be received and that Schedule 'A' of By-Law 11-50 be forwarded to Council for approval.

Resolved that Confidential Report FCR 11-14 dated October 5, 2011 with reference to Grimsby Fire Department Employment Relations - Management be received and that the Normal Retirement Age (NRA) for Grimsby Fire Department Fire Chief and Deputy Fire Chief be changed to age 65 for the sole purposes of contributions to the Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System (OMERS) be enacted.

Resolved that the correspondence from the City of Welland with reference to Goderich and Area Disaster Relief Fund be received.
