Resolved that report BLDG-23-03, 44 Livingston Avenue (Sobeys) Ltd. Sign By-law Variance, dated October 18, 2023 be received; and 1. That the Planning and Development Committee recommend Council direct staff to grant a permit to Pride Signs Ltd. in accordance with the regulations in the Town of Grimsby’s Sign By-Law; and 2. That the sign variance permit allows for a 159 square foot wall sign.

Resolved that report PA-23-34, Planning Shared Service Agreement, dated October 18, 2023 be received; and 1. That the Committee endorses the Planning Shared Services Agreement between the Town of Grimsby (the Town) and the Municipality of the Region of Niagara (the Region) in principle; and 2. That the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) be authorized to sign the Agreement on behalf of the Town upon the date of provincial proclamation for the amendments to the Planning Act related to upper-tier municipal planning responsibilities.
