"RESOLVED, That Report No. DPW08-01 dated January 10, 2008 regarding the Assumption of Municipal Services for Vineyard Valley Subdivision – Phase 2 be received, and further, that the Director of Public Works be authorized to release the current Letter of Credit in the amount of $101,383.00 in full, and further, that the Director of Public Works be authorized to issue the Final Certificate of Completion of Services, and further, that the Mayor and Town Clerk be authorized to execute the necessary Roadway Assumption By-law.”

"RESOLVED, That Report No. DPW08-03 dated January 10, 2008 regarding the Assumption of Municipal Services for Evergreens Subdivision – Phase 1 be received, and further, that the Director of Public Works be authorized to release the current Letter of Credit in the amount of $81,070.00, and further, that the Director of Public Works be authorized to issue the Final Certificate of Completion of Services, and further, that the Mayor and Town Clerk be authorized to execute the necessary Roadway Assumption By-law.”

“RESOLVED, That Report DPW08-04, dated January 11, 2008, regarding Gasoline and Diesel Fuel – Region of Niagara Group Tender #2004-T-36 be received and the low tender for the Regional Group Fuel Tender by Wright Fuels Niagara Inc., St. Catharines, Ontario for a 36-month period, be approved for Town use.”

Half Marathon and 5k Races, to be held on Sunday, February 24, 2008; the Casablanca Classic 8K and 2K Races scheduled for Saturday, November 8, 2008; the Tim Horton’s Peachbud 10K, 5K and 1K Races scheduled for Tuesday, June 24, 2008; the Niagara Triathlon scheduled for Sunday, July 20, 2008 be received and the proposed routes under Town jurisdiction be approved subject to the applicant notifying the emergency services, and advertising the race schedule and route in the two local newspapers at least one week prior to the event.”

"RESOLVED that the correspondence received from Mark Smithson, Supervisor of Safe Drinking Water Branch, Ministry of Environment regarding Notice of Release of the 2006-2007 Inspection Report Rating Record Grimsby Distribution System be received for information."

“RESOLVED, That the minutes of Downtown Improvement Area Committee from November 8, 2007 and December 14, 2007 be received and filed.”
