"RESOLVED, That Report DPW10-26 dated May 12, 2010 regarding the Grimsby 2010 One Day Rain Barrel Event for Water Conservation, June 26, 2010 be received for information and approved and further that the program allow for Grimsby residents only and that the limit per property be set at a maximum of 3 barrels."

Kadwell; “RESOLVED, that Report DPW10-23 dated May 6, 2010 regarding ‘Drinking Water Quality Management System (DWQMS) for the Grimsby Water Distribution System - Operational Plan Re-Endorsement’ be received by Town Council for review and that this report and the following recommendations be approved: ● that Council endorse the current revision of the DWQMS Operational Plan, included with this report as Appendix ‘A’; and ● that the Mayor be authorized to execute Section 3.0 of the DWQMS Operational Plan endorsing the current revision of the document; and ● that the Department of Public Works be authorized to submit the executed DWQMS Operational Plan to the Ministry of Environment and the Accreditation Body (Canadian General Standards Board) prior to June 23, 2010.”

“RESOLVED, that Report DPW10-24 dated May 6, 2010 regarding ‘Annual Drinking Water Quality Management System (DWQMS) Management Review Report (2009) for the Grimsby Water Distribution System’ be received by Town Council for review and information.”

Cruickshank; “RESOLVED, that Report DPW10-25 dated May 6, 2010 regarding ‘Town of Grimsby Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Program Update: Bill 168 - Workplace Violence and Harassment Procedures’ is received; and ● That Council approve the procedures appended to this report; and ● That the Town Manager be authorized to execute the procedures on behalf of Council and further that members of Council be included in the Workplace Violence and Harrassment Program training."

“RESOLVED, That Report DPW10-20 dated May 4, 2010 regarding the Award of Tender Contract PWC10-02-320043A, Operations Centre Lower Roof Replacement be received and approved and that the Director be authorized to award the contract to the, A.M. Roofing Systems Inc., in the amount of $24,000 plus G.S.T., and further, that the Mayor and the Town Clerk be authorized to execute the contract documents.”
