DiFlavio; Resolved that Report DPW15-28 dated June 3, 2015 regarding the Grimsby Benevolent Stairway – 40 Elm Street be received and that the recommendation for the Town to not take over this private stairway as municipal infrastructure be approved and that the Grimsby Benevolent Fund and Kingsway Boulevard area residents be advised.

Bentley; Resolved that Report DPW15-27 dated June 1, 2015 regarding the ‘2015 Annual Drinking DWQMS Operational Plan Re- endorsement’ be received by Town Council and that: - Council endorse the current revision of the DWQMS Operational Plan, dated June 2015; - The Mayor be authorized to sign the current revision of the DWQMS Operational Plan; and - Council re-endorse the existing DWQMS Policy statement.”

DiFlavio; Resolved that Report DPW15-29, dated May 29, 2015, regarding Award of Contract PWC15-52130-D, Supply of One (1) New 2015 Cab & Chassis (14,000 lbs. GVWR)) Single Axle Van c/w 16’ Van Body be received; and further, that the quote from Niagara Motors Limited (Virgil, Ontario), in the amount of $123,956.00 ($109,695.58 plus HST) for one (1) new 2016 Cab & Chassis Single Axle Van c/w 16’ Van Body be accepted.

Bentley; Resolved that Report DPW15-30, dated May 29, 2015, regarding Award of Contract PWC15-52130-A, Grimsby Sand/Salt Dome Re- Roofing and Rehabilitation, be received; and further, that the tender from 2265444 Ontario Ltd. (Brampton, Ontario), in the amount of $55,370.00 ($49,000.00 plus HST) for the re-shingling and miscellaneous associated works at the Grimsby sand/salt dome be accepted.

Resolved that Report DPW15-31 dated June 1, 2015 regarding No Parking Restrictions – Orchard Parkway at Main Street East be received and that the following parking restrictions be approved for addition to the Town’s Traffic By-law #89-2000. DiFlavio; Resolved that Report DPW15-32 dated June 4, 2015 regarding the Award of Contract PWC15-02-320099, Lakeview Avenue Shoreline Protection be received, and further, that the Director be authorized to award the contract to the low bidder, Catalina Excavating Inc., in the tendered amount of $92,970.00; and further, that the Mayor and the Town Clerk be authorized to execute the contract documents.

Kadwell; Resolved that Report DPW15-33 dated June 5, 2015 regarding Award of Contract PWC15-02-320003 Cold Mix Paving & Surface Treatment Program 2015 be received and that the Director be authorized to award the contract to the Norjohn Contracting and Paving Limited in the tendered amount of $339,395.00 excluding H.S.T. and further, that the Mayor and the Town Clerk be authorized to execute the contract documents and further, that the Director be authorized to carry out the additional work as recommended.

Dunstall; Resolved that correspondence from R.V. Anderson Associates Ltd. of June 3, 2015 regarding the Park Road road closure from July to September 2015 for construction of the Smithville Sewage Forcemain be received by Council and approved.

DiFlavio; Resolved that the minutes of the DIA meeting of April 28, 2015 be received as circulated and filed for records purposes.
