Committee of Adjustment

Resolved that the minutes of the Committee of Adjustment meeting of January 8, 2019 be approved as circulated.

Resolved that Submission A-01/19 by Marcello and Janice Anne Panaccione to legalize an existing 2.4 metre high wood fence on the lot line in a Low Density Residential RD 3.40 Zone at #117 Lampman Drive, Grimsby be granted for the following reasons: 1. The Variance is minor in nature. 2. The intent of the Official Plan and Zoning By-law is maintained. 3. The proposal is desirable for the appropriate development of the land.

Resolved that Submission A-02/19 by Sunny Peach Inc. to allow for the replacement of a previous 2 storey commercial building with a gross floor area of 350 square metres with a new 2 storey commercial building with a gross floor area of 418 square metres in a Downtown Main Street Zone at 12-14 Main Street East, Grimsby be granted for the following reasons: 1. The Variance is minor in nature. 2. The intent of the Official Plan and Zoning By-law is maintained. 3. The proposal is desirable for the appropriate development of the land.

Resolved that Submission B-01/19 by Homes By Desantis (Casablanca) Inc. for consent to convey be granted as per the Notice of Decision.

Resolved that Report CA-19-1, dated February 5, 2019 be received and that the 2019 Committee of Adjustment’s operating budget with a gross amount of $55,000.00 and a levy amount of $0.00 be approved and forwarded to the Finance Committee for consideration in the overall Budget.
