Resolved that Report DPW13-42, dated December 5, 2013 regarding Release of Construction Lean Holdback for Contract PWC13-02-320005 Sidewalk Construction & Replacement Spot Repairs be received and further, that the Director be authorized to release the 10% Construction Lean in the amount of $10,994.60 plus HST in favour of Sacco Construction Limited and further that a 2% maintenance holdback in the amount of $2,199.00, plus HST be released subject to the rectification of any deficiencies to the satisfaction of the Director at the end of the One-year Maintenance Period.

Resolved that Report DPW13-43 dated December 6, 2013 regarding the Award of Engineering Services for the Main Street West Sanitary Sewer Extension be received and that the Director be authorized to award the design to S. Llewellyn & Associates Limited in the total estimated amount of $18,000.

Finch; Resolved that the notice received from the Region of Niagara regarding the Public Information Centre being held for the Grimsby Water System Storage Location - Municipal Class Environmental Assessment be received for information and filed.

Resolved that the Town of Grimsby hereby agrees to participate jointly and to work collaboratively with the Region of Niagara and the Local Municipalities in order to address the challenges and problems that were identified through the 2013 Water and Wastewater Fiscal Service Review process be received and sent back to staff for further information at the January 2014 Public Works meeting.

Resolved that the GDIA Committee Board Meeting Minutes of October 15, 2013 and Annual General Meeting Minutes for December 13, 2012 be received for informational purposes and filed.
