Resolved that Report DPW13-09 dated February 19, 2013 regarding ‘Annual Drinking Water Quality Management System (DWQMS) Infrastructure Review Report (2012) for the Grimsby Water Distribution System’ is received by Town Council for review and information.

Resolved that Report DPW13-12 dated February 28, 2013 regarding the 2013 Public Works Department Budget be received and that the recommended Budgets contained therein be approved and that a 2.0% increase in the Town’s Water Rates; an increase in the Equipment Self Rental Rate based on individual equipment rate increases identified; a 1.0% increase in Cemetery Rates, Charges and fees and a 0% increase in the Sanitary Maintenance Levy Rate, all be approved, and that the Capital Forecast Budgets presented herein be approved in principle, and further, that the following Public Works Budgets hereby be approved and forwarded to the Consolidated Budget Meeting for consideration in the 2013 overall Town Budget. 1. The Transportation Services Capital Budget in the total expenditure of $3,897,000 with a Net Expenditure of $933,000; 2. The Transportation Services Current Budget in the total expenditure of $2,686,200 with a Net Expenditure of $2,544,600; 3. The Liquid Waste Capital Budget in the total expenditure of $970,000 with a Net Expenditure of $0; 4. The Liquid Waste Current Budget in the total expenditure of $4,899,100 with a Net Expenditure of $0; 5. The Water Works Capital Budget in the total expenditure of $1,681,000 with a Net Expenditure of $0; 6. The Water Works Current Budget in the total expenditure of $5,313,730 with a Net Expenditure of $0; 7. The Queen’s Lawn and Grimsby Mountain Cemeteries Capital Budget in the combined total expenditure of $28,000 with a Net Expendit

Resolved that the GDIA meeting minutes of January 17, 2013 as circulated for information be filed.

Resolved that the CEO of Grimsby Power Inc. be requested to attend the next Public Works Committee meeting in order to clarify the approximately $50,000 increase in the Town's streetlight energy costs for 2013.
