Grimsby Public Library Board

Resolved that the agenda be approved as amended.

Resolved that items 6.1, 8.1, 11.3 and 11.8 be approved in consent.

Resolved that the board meet in closed session (PLA 16.1 (4) (b) personal matters about an identifiable individual.

Resolved that the Grimsby Public Library Board uphold the No Trespass notice dated August 18, 2023 and that; The period of no trespass shall not exceed 6 months from the above date, terminating at midnight February 17, 2024; Before returning the individual must meet with the library CEO to ensure that the individual is aware of all library policies that must be followed on return and that any future breaches may result in a longer term of no trespass or a full ban from the Library; That outstanding items on loan be returned.

Resolved that the Grimsby Public Library Board receive the Monthly Statistics for June, July and August 2023.

Resolved that the Grimsby Public Library Board receive the minutes of the Finance Committee meeting of July 20, 2023

Resolved that the Finance Committee Terms of Reference be approved.

Resolved that Carrie deRoo be approved as the Chair of the CEO Evaluation Committee for a two-year term.

Resolved that the Evaluation Survey tool be approved.

Resolved that Erica Noordermeer is approved as the Fundraising and Events Committee Chair for a two-year term.

Resolved that the minutes from the Fundraising and Events Committee meeting of August 30, 2023 be received.

Resolved that the Terms of Reference for the Fundraising and Events Committee be approved.

Resolved that the Grimsby Public Library Board receive the Culture Gala Report.

Resolved that the Grimsby Public Library Board approve the revised Grimsby Author Series Policy.

Resolved that the Grimsby Public Library Board change the October meeting date from Wednesday, October 11 to Wednesday, October 18 at 6:30 pm.

Resolved that the meeting adjourn at 9:00 pm.
