Resolved that the minutes of the Grimsby Public Art Gallery Advisory Board dated September 13, 2012 be received for information.

Resolved that the minutes of the Grimsby Santa Claus Parade meeting dated September 17, 2012 be received for information.

Resolved that the Christmas Parade Report DRS12-16 be received and approved for a parade on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at approximately 5:15 p.m. It is further recommended that Town Council support the permit application to the Niagara Region requesting temporary closure of the streets along the parade route which will include restricting parking along the route from Casablanca Blvd. to Elm St.

Resolved that the Grimsby Lions Pool Change Building Holdback Release Report DRS12-17 be received and the 8% holdback for Contract PR2011-F3 in the amount of $66,417.79 plus H.S.T. be released for payment to Brouwer Construction Ltd.

Resolved that the correspondence from Michael Seaman, Director of Planning, dated September 6, 2012 re: Grand Avenue Tree Stand Heritage Considerations be received for information.

Resolved that the Recreation Services Committee meeting go into closed session under Section 230.(2)(c) a proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board.
