Resolved that, the Committee of Adjustment approve the minutes of the meeting held on February 4, 2020.

Resolved that, Nancy Simon be appointed as Secretary/Treasurer of the Committee of Adjustment.

Resolved that, Submission A-04-20 - 270 Kerman Avenue extension of a legal non-conforming use in the General Employment Zone, for the purposes of constructing an exterior staircase on the north side of the existing single family dwelling, be approved with a condition for the following reasons: The variance meets the intent of the Zoning By-law and Official Plan The variance is appropriate development for the subject lands The variance is minor in nature Page 3 of 4 Committee of Adjustment June 23, 2020 Subject to the following condition: 1. That if the Building Permit is not applied for within 12 months of the date of this decision, said decision shall expire and shall be deemed to have been annulled and rescinded by the Committee.

Resolved that the Submission A-05-20 - 250 Main Street East submitted by Donald & Marlene Hart; to allow for an increase in building depth to 29.06m from the required 20m, be approved subject to a condition with the following reasons: The variance meets the intent of the Zoning By-law and Official Plan The variance is appropriate for the development of the subject lands The variance is minor in nature Subject to the following condition: 1. That a limited scope tree preservation plan to the area of construction located at the front of the house prepared by a qualified arborist be submitted to the satisfaction of the Town’s peer-review expert, the cost of which shall be borne by the Applicant.
