Resolved that Report DPW11-28 dated June 28, 2011 regarding ‘Annual Drinking Water Quality Management System (DWQMS) Management Review Report (2010-2011) for the Grimsby Water Distribution System’ is received by Town Council for review and information.

RESOLVED, that Report DPW11-29 dated August 10, 2011 regarding ‘Drinking Water Quality Management System (DWQMS) Risk Assessment (2011)’ be received by Town Council for review and that this report and the following recommendations be approved:  That Council endorses the current revision of the DWQMS Risk Assessment, distributed to members of Public Works Committee with this report.

Resolved that the DIA meeting minutes of April 21st and June 16th, 2011 be received by Committee and filed.

Resolved that correspondence dated July 15, 2011 from Teresa Mueller, Organizer for the Terry Fox Run event scheduled for Sunday, September 18, 2011 be received for information and that all required applications and documentation be received prior to the event for records purposes including emergency notification confirmation.

Resolved that due to Fish Habitat-time of construction constraints related to the Forty Mile Creek/Gibson Street Weir tender which closes on the 17th of August 2011, and the conflicting Council summer schedule, that the Director of Public Works be authorized to award the Contract subject to it being within Budget.
