Whereas transparency and accountability are foundational to the decision-making of Council, Standing Committees, Advisory Committees, and Task Forces; and Whereas residents and members of Council benefit from having access to the same information presented in open session; and Whereas not all Committees and Task Forces provide video recordings of their meetings, limiting the ability of residents and Council members who are not on those Committees to view the reports and presentations. Therefore be it resolved that all reports and presentations considered in open session by Council, Standing Committees, Advisory Committees (save and except the Joint Accessibility Advisory Committee), Task Forces and the Grimsby Downtown Business Improvement Area be included with the corresponding agenda to ensure consistent public access.
