Planning Development Committee

RESOLVED, That the Planning Report from Macaulay Shiomi Howson Limited, dated May 20, 2008, regarding the Kemp Road and Mountain Road Hamlet be received, and recommendations therein be approved; AND That the Committee recommends that a By-law be passed to adopt the amendment attached to the report as Official Plan Amendment No. 40; AND That, upon passing of the By-law, that the Official Plan Amendment be forwarded to the Region of Niagara for approval.

"RESOLVED, That the minutes of the GHAC Meeting of May 20, 2008, be received as information."

"RESOLVED, That Resolution 08-47 be amended to incorporate a relocation of the park to the south end of the subdivision in the general vicinity of Lots 38, 109 and 110, and the balance of the required 5% be incorporated into the stormwater managment facility."

"RESOLVED, That Resolution No. 08-47 be amended to incorporate a street access to Main Street West."

"RESOLVED, That Resolution No. 08-47 be further amended to deny the Official Plan Amendment to increase the maximum height permitted in the medium density designation from 2 1/2 stories to 3 stories and that the draft zoning by-law be revised accordingly."

"RESOLVED, That the Planning and Development Committee Meeting be extended until 11:30 p.m. in accordance with the Town's Procedural By-law."
